Built with recycled content

While you’ll love the lightweight chassis, it’s the recycled materials used in this machine that are the real delight.
The ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 laptop is composed of 90% recycled magnesium on the keyboard frame for the Deep Black models and 22% carbon fiber on the top cover.
For the Storm Grey models, the top cover and keyboard frame include 50% recycled aluminum.
Both models boast 55% recycled aluminum on the bottom cover, recycled plastic enclosures for the speaker, battery, and AC adapter, plus packaging that’s plastic-free with 90% recycled and/or sustainable materials.

Military-grade durability

We use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H standards to create a balance of reliability and durability for our ThinkPad laptops.
We test against 12 standards and more than 200 quality checks to ensure they run in extreme conditions.
