SSD has a built-in Wear-Out indicator. In this case the warranty for such a component, as an exception to the system warranty, is restricted to the time period until the indicator reaches the exhaust level.
SED HDD or SSD components require either a RAID controller with ®SafeStore (SED) support or an HBA and in addition a software instance, supporting SED Key Management.

This SSD works properly as Non-SED or SED depending on the RAID controller setting about SED feature.
